September 6th — Still feeling tired and achy from the last round of chemo, but I don’t have the time to be sick! I’ve just signed up to be a team captain for Austin’s Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on November 1, 2009. Please consider donating to this great cause. All of donations go to fund breast cancer screening in the Austin area and more importantly for me, it also benefits direct breast cancer research. My family and I will be walking the 1 mile family race, and may consider the 5K, depending on the hardiness of the small people with us.
