OMG. I remember the day the put mine in. I was suppose to be in a twilight sleep so they thought. After attempting to put it in through my chest close to the collar bone and screaming my head of until they knocked me out. They had to make another incission in the main artery of my neck. After almost 3 yrs my oncologist said I can have it removed. So I know how you feel on the 17th I go for pre-ops and to talk about them taking it out which is via back to the operating room where I will be put out again. Drink one for me. Most of luck I am happy for you.

What a lovely poem. Amy, I don’t know the circumstances of Midknight’s
demise; however, if you were able to tell him goodbye and what a loving
kitty he’d been and how much he meant to you, count yourself blessed.

I am so sorry for your huge loss, Amy. My dog Lexy is 14 and I am dreading the day…..Please go to http://www.rainbowbridge.com and, hopefully you can find some
comfort there. You can write a letter or poem to/about Midknight, or express your
grief and thankfulness to have had the opportunity to give and receive unconditional love from your furry friend.

You have my heartfelt condolences. I lost my calico, Missy Sue, six months ago. She was 16. In 2009 I lost Cody, my Siamese. He was almost 16. They are our ‘babies,’ and it is so hard. Just keep reminding yourself that MidKnight was blessed by your love and care just as you were blessed by the love he gave you. I know how sad you are, and I’m truly sorry.

I am sooo sorry…I’m sure he brought you so much comfort during your most difficult days. He was lucky to have found you way back when and you gave him as good a life as a cat could hope for. Prayers for Midknight….RIP
